Keep reading to learn how you can personalize your graphic, the guidelines to follow, and download the template to create it. All custom orders are handled through our email info@retrofingerboards.com. Once you have decided on your design, you can place your order.
The available sizes are 29, 32, 33.5, and 34 mm in width. Remember to select the correct size when placing your order. ✅
As soon as we have your board finished, it will be shipped. One thing to keep in mind is that custom orders have high priority, so you can rest assured that it will be sent as soon as possible! 📦🚙
I will explain the design process using the free software Gimp, but you can use the software that is most comfortable for you, such as Canva, Photoshop, Inkscape, Photopea...

A blank template is provided, with guides to show you how your board might look. To use it, you need to know that the image has this format and resolution:
Open the template:
Open the .XCF file with Gimp (v2.10!!), or the PNG file with your preferred software. A PSD file for Photoshop is also included.
Even if you choose another size, the image has a maximum size of 36mm x 100mm, with a density of 508ppi (pixels per inch) or 20 pixels per millimeter.
Using the template:
In Gimp, you can toggle the visibility of the guides with the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+T. ⌨️
In the template, you have guides for 29, 32, and 34 mm. Everything within those guides will be what gets printed on the board!
REMEMBER, you are creating a graphic for laser, so the image must be in black and white; the drawing style that gives the best result is line art, but you can opt for other styles as long as they maintain a simple style, such as manga.
